Recognising the need for effective communication of Traditional Knowledge/Practices and upon the ardent call of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India and the President of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), Shri Narendra Modi, CSIR-NIScPR launched the national initiative SVASTIK (Scientifically Validated Societal Traditional Knowledge) to communicate India’s scientifically validated traditional knowledge to the society. CDTK conference is being organised under the umbrella of the SVASTIK initiative, and the first conference was organised in February 2023. This year, CDTK is being jointly organised by CSIR-NIScPR and Gurugram University.
