CSIR-North East Institute of Science & Technology (CSIR-NEIST), Jorhat, began serological testing for antibodies against SARS-COV-2 under the CSIR Phenome India Project for the CSIR-NEIST Cohort. The CSIR Phenome India Project is a long-term longitudinal observational cohort study of health outcomes within its employees with an aim to develop risk prediction tools and play a role in establishing precision health and medicine for the Indian population. 19 CSIR labs will be conducting these surveys and will provide valuable information on the COVID-19 disease.
